In reviewing my 12/3 post on the Shavit and Blumenthal books, I discovered that in the process of pasting text from Word into my website I had accidentally omitted a key paragraph. I’ve now inserted that paragraph, so if you’ve already read that post, you might want to take another look. The restored paragraph occurs about 2/3 of the way through the post, immediately following the Shavit quote about Israel as “a free society that is creative and passionate and frenzied” and preceding the paragraph that begins with the words “Max Blumenthal doesn’t share Shavit’s moral agnosticism….”
Another less critical correction: a friend pointed out to me that I had written the word kibbutzim when I meant kibbutzniks. A natural goy mistake.
