On a slightly different but related topic, have you read the Times Op-ed piece from a senior White House official about how the staff deals with Trump?
It’s almost unbelievable and begs the question why it was written at this time. Mightn’t it cause Trump to react in ways far more harmful than he has already?

We can only speculate as to the motives and rationale of the anonymous op-ed writer. The most charitable explanation (which I don’t necessarily buy) is that he weighed the risks of inflaming Trump and thus setting off still more dangerous behavior against the need to undermine Trump, and concluded that the second outweighed the first.
