I’m reprinting the following from The Hill website.  No further comment by me is necessary, but I can’t help noting that Gingrich is widely regarded as the intellectual heavyweight among leading Republican politicians.

Last month, on CNN’s “Crossfire,” which he co-hosts, Gingrich said the planet was warmer during the age of dinosaurs.  “The age of the dinosaurs was dramatically warmer than this is right now, and it didn’t cook the planet,” Gingrich said. “In fact, life was fine.”
